Go on, is a comedy about a sportscaster trying to deal with the loss of his wife. He is forced to go to therapy and that is where the story lies...
It looks like a very interesting story line and I will be watching to see how it all unravels.

Birthday celebrations

This is probably one of my favourite places right now. Maybe because the staff at the hotel is awesome and they had all these little surprises for me when we arrived :) Still smiling today because of it. But more than anything, still smiling because of the hubby. He got them to plan all of it ;)

Moody Mondays

So after one of the longest long weekend we've had - well for those that took the day off on Friday after the public holiday on Thursday. It being Women's day in South Africa. I took off of blogging for a few of the days ;) But now everything is back to normal *work and everything else*. Just thought to start the week with some words of encouragement - to give me a kick in the behind for the week ahead.

Oh! In other news - I got a dog :D I think she kept me the busiest over the weekend. 

Her name is Loulou and pictures will follow soon.

Fruity nails :: The tangerine

A tangerine for all you non-South Africans ;). I was peeling one earlier and thought it would be a good idea to show it in this post. The colours are just so similar (insert giggles). Decided to bring spring in with my nails. I can't take the cold anymore...

Tuesday Traffic Nightmares

Ok, so after 2 hours in traffic; I blame waking up and telling myself this is going to be a good day. I'm in a mood... Right now that mood is irritation not sure what it will be in a few hours - hopefully it will get better :-|

I believe I can get myself to a happy day maybe the day will just get better from here on out.

TSHIDI for #SAIdol!!!!

Last night we watched the top ten of SA Idols and I must say... they saved the best for last. I'm gonna take it as far as Tshidi reminds me of Jennifer Hudson when she started out.   I'm still singing along to the song today!

Thoughtful Thursday

My niece was asking me the other day what I wanted to be when I was growing up. I explained all the crazy ideas that I had - one of them being a clown, yes I know *hides* She then asked what it is that I really wanted to do when I was in school; I explained it to her and how the dream changed along the way.

Towards the end of the conversation the words "It's never too late to be what you want to be" came up... I tell this to myself everyday, but it hit home when it came from her... Thus today's thought. Enjoy!

Slow days...

I'm feeling a little tired today. 

So this is just a little post to myself because all I want to do right now is crawl under the covers and sleep the entire day.
